Plugin Installation

Download the Jules ZIP file. Open Android Studio, navigate to Settings > Plugins, click the gear icon, and select Install Plugin from Disk.

  • Choose the downloaded ZIP file directly.
  • Restart Android Studio to activate Jules.

Connect to Google Drive

Open the Jules tab in the sidebar. You'll see a "Connect to Google Drive" button. Clicking it will open your browser to finalize the secure link.

  • Jules explicitly uses `drive.file` and `appdata` scopes.
  • OAuth 2.0 ensures we never handle your Google password.

Manage Snapshots

Automatic **Delta Backups** run every 9 minutes (default). You can also click "Take Manual Snapshot" for a full project backup before major changes.

Pro Tip:

Use the gear icon on the dashboard to adjust the auto-backup interval (1-60 mins) and keeping version count.

Zero-Effort Restore

Need to roll back? Find any snapshot in the "Recent Backups" list and click "Restore". You can also "View Diff" to see exactly what changed before you overwrite.
